I have met Katja in the last few years and particularly enjoy her engagements with theorists Gregory Bateson and Bruno Latour, both of whom offer rich food for thought in thinking through socio-nature constructions and entanglements. Together with Bram Büscher, Dan Brockington and Jim Igoe, Katja and I have recently co-authored a paper on ‘neoliberal conservation’ which is in press in the journal Capitalism, Nature, Socialism.
